Composition Studies: The Big Lebowski
I've been spending 90% of my semester animating, but near the beginning of the semester I was able to do some storyboarding just for fun. I decided to storyboard a scene from The Big Lebowski for several reasons. 1: I love that movie. 2: I think my biggest struggle with boarding is my staging, and who better to study staging from than Roger Deakins? 3: I love that movie!

Freaking love it. My Dreamworks contact said a good way to demonstrate your knowledge of cinematography is trying to change the story of a well-known scene through staging. Might be fun to do with this scene.
